Delete your Mosey account
Mosey is operated by Moseyaround Limited. You can permanently delete your account from the app, or request deletion if you can no longer sign in.
Delete your account in the Mosey app
- Open the Mosey app and sign in.
- Open your account or settings area.
- Select Delete Account.
- Read the deletion information shown in the app.
- Confirm that you want to permanently delete your account.
Once confirmed, Mosey will process the account deletion. This action cannot be undone.
If you cannot access the app
Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your Mosey account and request account deletion. We may need to verify that you are the account holder before processing your request.
What we delete
When your account is deleted, Mosey deletes the account data associated with your active profile, including:
- your Mosey user profile;
- account-related subcollections associated with your user profile;
- your leaderboard entry;
- your reserved Mosey username; and
- other account data scheduled for deletion as part of the account-deletion process.
Your ability to access the Mosey account ends when the account is deleted.
Information we may retain
Some information is not immediately deleted where Moseyaround Limited has a legal or legitimate requirement to retain it.
In particular, redemption transaction records may be retained after your account is deleted where required for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or other legal and regulatory record-keeping purposes.
These records are retained only for as long as necessary for the applicable purpose and are not retained so that your deleted Mosey account can continue to operate. Where applicable, this includes circumstances in which the right to erasure does not apply under Article 17(3) of the UK GDPR, including where processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation.
