1. Categories collected, sources and purposes
Depending on the features and permissions you choose, Mosey may process step/activity totals, activity dates and timestamps, limited activity-source information, and activity-derived reward or integrity information. Sources may include you, supported device sensors and operating-system activity services, Apple Health/HealthKit, Health Connect, and Mosey service records.
We use this information to display activity progress; operate daily step tiers and the Step Multiplier; determine activity-based rewards; attribute activity to the correct day; investigate errors; prevent duplicated, manipulated or artificial activity and fraud; provide support; maintain security; and comply with applicable law.
2. How the data is processed
Authorized activity information is received through supported device or health-platform interfaces, associated with your Mosey account where needed, and processed by Mosey systems and contracted processors only for the disclosed purposes or to provide a service you requested. Access is restricted where reasonably necessary.
3. Sharing
Mosey does not currently share consumer health data with third parties or affiliates for their own advertising, profiling or other independent purposes, and Moseyaround Limited currently has no affiliate with which it shares consumer health data. Processors may handle limited activity data, account identifiers, timestamps and integrity/security information on Mosey’s behalf where necessary to host, secure, support or operate the service.
Raw Apple Health/HealthKit and Health Connect data is not provided to advertising networks, advertising SDKs or offerwall providers for advertising, targeting or profiling.
4. Cross-site collection
Mosey does not permit advertising, analytics or offerwall providers to collect Apple Health/HealthKit, Health Connect or other consumer health data from Mosey over time and across unrelated websites or online services for their own advertising or profiling purposes.
5. Sale
Mosey does not sell consumer health data. If this practice ever changed, Mosey would obtain the written authorization required by applicable law before a sale.
6. Your Nevada rights
Where Nevada law applies, you may request confirmation of whether Mosey is collecting, sharing or selling consumer health data about you; a list of third parties with whom it was shared or to whom it was sold; cessation of collection, sharing or sale; and deletion. You may also ask us to review and correct Mosey-held consumer health data where correction is appropriate. Data originating in Apple Health/HealthKit, Health Connect or another source platform may need to be corrected through that originating platform.
7. Requests
Email [email protected] with the subject Nevada Consumer Health Data Request. We may take commercially reasonable steps to authenticate your identity. We will respond without undue delay and generally no later than 45 days after authentication, subject to a permitted extension of up to 45 additional days.
Information will be provided free of charge as required by Nevada law, including at least twice each year, subject to the law’s provisions for manifestly unfounded, excessive or repetitive requests.
8. Deletion
For an authenticated Nevada deletion request, Mosey will delete covered consumer health data from its records and network within the period required by Nevada law and notify applicable affiliates, processors, contractors and third parties. Archived or backup-system deletion may be delayed only to the extent and for the period permitted by applicable law.
9. Appeals
If Mosey refuses to act on your request, appeal by emailing [email protected] with the subject Nevada Consumer Health Data Appeal. We will respond in writing within 45 days. If the appeal is denied, the response will include contact information for the Nevada Office of the Attorney General.
10. Consent and withdrawal
Where Nevada law requires consent to collect consumer health data, Mosey will request affirmative, voluntary consent before collection. Where consent is required for sharing, that consent will be separate and distinct from collection consent. You may withdraw applicable consent through device/health-platform permissions and by contacting [email protected].
11. Security
Mosey limits employee and processor access to consumer health data where reasonably necessary for the disclosed purposes or requested service and maintains administrative, technical and physical security practices appropriate to the nature and volume of the data.
12. Healthcare geofencing
Mosey does not implement geofences around medical facilities or other entities providing in-person healthcare services or products for the purpose of identifying or tracking consumers seeking healthcare, collecting consumer health data, or sending health-related notifications, messages or advertisements.
13. Material changes
If we materially change this policy, we will provide a clear notice through the Mosey service, website and/or email as appropriate before the changed processing begins where required. If Nevada law requires fresh consent for a new category, recipient or purpose, the relevant processing will not begin until the required consent is obtained.
